Junior Jordan Tegeler broke several records last night. In the 200 - Jordan Tegeler ran a 26.07. This is a new school record and NEW MEET RECORD. She was also crowned the Indoor Conference Champion.
For the 400 - Jordan Tegeler 59.22 this is a new indoor school record and a NEW MEET RECORD. Also, she was crowned the Indoor Conference Champion.
The girls 4x200 set the pace with a new record (freshman) Tenley Holst, (junior) Jordan Tegeler, (sophomore) Natalyn Tarr and (freshman) Janyssa Johnson.
They set a new Indoor School Record that was previous was set in 2001 by Stacy Butt, Angie Adrian, Kathleen Meggers, and Kim Eskildsen

Congratulation to our Northeast Speech students who received "All-State" recognition. Senior Isaac Middendorp was recognized for two events in After Dinner Speaking with "B.U.F.F.E.T." and Story Telling with "Buffalo Fluffalo". Senior Lauryn Tarr received her honor in Solo Musical Theater with her performance of "The Ballad of Jane Doe" from Ride the Cyclone. Junior Landen Snyder was recognized for Storytelling, in "Off the Rails". Sophomore Leah Lower received her honors with her Literature Program with "There Will Come Some Soft Rains". Congratulations to these students for their hard work this season!

#3 Skylar Wegener falls short of the championship against #2 Haley Armstrong of Atlantic. Skylar's day is FAR from over! She will be wrestling back against #1 Kaylee Dejon of Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley after the break. Her bout is going to be #1364. Tune in and support Skylar, Rebel Nation!





Today the Middle School and High School wished Skylar Wegener sent her off to Iowa City for her state wrestling qualification. Skylar will wrestle tomorrow, she has earned the 3 seed and will face the 14 seed Gracie Thompson from South Winneshiek. Best of luck Skylar, all of Rebel Nation is cheering for you and proud of you for making Rebel history as a three time state qualifier!
